Hola Frank de Holanda y Alice, afther the most humid may in decades the landscape in Sierra de Gredos looks now fantastic, green and plenty of wild flowers. Only hope the weather will treat you well... it´s been a rainy spring. Wellcome and enjoy your stay.

Hola Alice, you can find general track information in the Lonely Planet `Walking in Spain' (where to start and how to get there, etc). In La Tiende Verde in Madrid you can buy the necessary 1:25 000 maps.
Cheers,
Frank de Holanda
PS We go there next week!

I'm very interested in more info about the Sierra de Gredos. I'm planning to organize a hiking of 4 to 5 days in these mountains with some friends in mai. It is however not that easy to find info in English (nore Dutch). We want to travel across the mountains from gite to gite (or B&B, or little hôstels, whatever).
Can you give us these information or a track to it?
Kind regards
Alice AJG
